Aryna Sabalenka

Her birthplace is Minsk located in Belarus. Sergey Her father (who passed away in 2019), was an ice-hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka was born on May 5th, 1998, from Minsk Belarus. Her twelve WTA singles titles include the Grand Slam, the 2023 Australian Open. Doubles is her forte She has won majors in the US Open (2019) and Australian Open (2021), both of which were with Elise Mertens. The year she was born, she was the winner of both her first WTA 1000 and Miami Open in Indian Wells with her Belgian teammate, and completed her Sunshine Double. This feat was made possible by four couples in female doubles. The 23rd of August, 2021 was the day she climbed to the second spot in the world singles ranking her best ranking reached again in January 2023. Following her victory at the Melbourne doubles tournament in February of 2021 and gaining the doubles title, she managed to move up the rankings and take over the top spot on the list of that particular specialty. Dmitry Tursunov, a former Russian tennis star, played with her throughout through the season of 2018 until conclusion and her 2020 campaign. The pair also briefly worked with Dieter Kindlmann in August until September 2020. Since the end of 2020 she's been coaching by her fellow countryman Antonio Dubrov. Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova were her heroes.
